One of Mavi Travel’s most innovative tours took place in Ontario this past summer. We visited a lavender farm that had many varieties of lavender. It was a panorama of beauty with myriad colours, scents and tastes. The group also visited gorgeous tearooms and shops in the area. Workshops took place on everything from the history of lavender to the many ways of utilizing the plant, including dried flower arranging and cookery. The tour ended with a lavish picnic on the lavender farm.
